Re: Settings backup

Yeah, without a proper and extensive bot filter it's a disaster... If you can't find a good programmer, I guess this would not work.

Re: Settings backup

Do you remember that only members of "User" group can edit the wiki ? And since you have disabled the Register feature, right now only you can edit it yourself.
But seriously, I think you should find an English & French-speaking developer to help you with if you want the most up-to-date wiki.

Re: Settings backup

I have just reinstalled Ultracopier again. All my configurations were gone after the uninstall. And I can't get the "Display the OS warning" to remain ticked; reopening the main window and it's gone again. I don't use the portable version because there's only the x86 version, my OS is x64. And since...

Settings backup

Every time I install a new version of Ultracopier, I have to manually adjust the settings of it. A feature that allow me to backup my settings, so I can bring it to another computer or use after an Ultracopier clean uninstall would be nice. And BTW, why does every upgrade keep throwing me error with...

Re: [UC] "Access is denied" error

Thanks, it worked ! How the heck did that work... No, I understand read-only locking the files from moving is a natural thing, but why can Windows copy normally like it's nothing ? I mean read-only must locks all transfers regardless of programs, right ? How can only Ultracopier be affected, but not...

Re: [UC] "Access is denied" error

Oh, "Access is denied" popped up when I tried to move a torrent file/folder to a different partition/drive too. Moving in the same partition is fine though, but from E:\ to D:\ or E:\ to G:\ (USB drive) resulted in error. Non-torrent files are not affected. uTorrent was turned off, and since right a...

Re: [UC] "Access is denied" error

They are .mkv files. Playing directly from the drive via Media Player Classic - Home Cinema with no problem. Disk integrity check result was no error. The drive is formatted in NTFS file system. The USB contains 9 movies files (~400 MB each) and a tiny application .exe (~140 KB). Ultracopier can mov...

Re: [UC] "Access is denied" error

The log is uploaded.

Funny thing: why is the log file considered a "possible attack vector" by the website :D

[UC] "Access is denied" error

This error has appeared a number of times already. The last instance is when I tried to move 9 movies files from the USB drive to the hard drive. The time before that was when moving a torrent-downloaded folder to another folder in the same partition. This happened before too, just that I can't reme...
