Bugs with copy and paste of files

Hi Ultracopier, I've been getting bugs since updating to 2.0.3.8 and now still in 2.0.3.10. I often copy and paste a file into the same location. Ultracopier is great when it offers the filename to rename, so you can type another filename and copy the into that same location. BUT 1) The file extensi...

Ultracopier - loses file extension if file exists

Here are the steps to try. I have two folders 'folder1' and 'folder2'. In each folder I have a file named Test.txt In folder1 I select the Test.txt and then ctrl+C to copy to the clipboard. Now change to folder2 and use ctrl+V to paste from the clipboard. All is good the offered name is OK with a .t...

Re: Window opens on other monitor.

Yes - that I understand. (windows persistence). All my other windows programs stay where they last opened. But Ultracopier doesn't do that. So if I drag the windows the away from top left, to right bottom right, it should open there next time... But it doesn't, when it opens it opens back at the top...

Re: Window opens on other monitor.

I can't find such an option in the interface. Can you explain more. The window always opens at the top left corner and never remembers the last position. Actually I wouldn't want it to remember the last position, if I am working on monitor 2 and it last opened on monitor 1 and vice versa. Prior to 1...

Re: Window opens on other monitor.

No - I've not changed anything in Ultracopier options. I'm fairly certain that I wouldn't have changed any windows options either. I would NOT have ever thought there would be a option "Open Ultracopier window only at top left". Have you any ideas what to suggest? Has anyone else ever had this issue...

Window opens on other monitor.

I have recently updated to ultracopier 1.1.4.1, but now I keep getting the 'overwrite' window popping up on my other screen. Previously when I copied a file and needed to overwrite or change the name, then the pop up window would be in the middle of the screen I was using. However since I started us...

Access is denied - have 'try windows' option

I use Ultracopier all the time. I find the 'resume' function really help when copying large files over a slow vpn to my HQ. My main reason for installing it was that often the normal windows copy would stop half way through, but thanks ultra carries on and works great. However, I often replace dlls ...
