Extremely slow in Windows 10

Post by firdausi » Tue Aug 11, 2015 4:20 pm

I compared with extreme copy and the speeds were extremely slow in windows 10. Average transfer speed was at 55 KB/s for ultracopier, where as extreme copy was at 25 MB/s with occasional speeds going up to 45 MB/s .

And if you try play with this options:
- Buffer size
- Parallel vs serial transfer
- Inode thread: 16 (buggy if >1 but just to try)
What is the source and destination? Network share? Mostly big or small file?
http://files.first-world.info/ultracopi ... .2.1.0.zip -> will provide an extra window to see where is waiting.

Shouldn't it be optimized from before just like other copiers? If I have to set the parameters myself why would I purchase this product?

Now it's crashing a lot, after using the debug file that you sent. I got rebooted twice on windows 10.

Then it's maybe OS/hardware problem.
I don't have windows 10, but under linux and windows 7 not performance problem.
