Activate & Deactivate option

Post by gvvsss » Mon Apr 22, 2013 5:34 pm

Please add an option to activate and deactivate UC from System tray right click menu.

Please add different icons (possibly one dull/gray and one coloured) for system tray in order to indicate the active/inactive status.

You have fast access by double click on the icon.
If it's not good for you, can you explain me why?

It is not clear from the state of the icons if UC is active or not... I am adding the screenshot from my tray zoomed 300%.

It would be nice if we right click on the tray and see "activate", we can understand that it is disabled.
If we have "deactivate" we can see that it is already active. We can then "activate/deactivate" from that menu itself.

The icons that you posted above are only effective if they have at least 128x128 size. For smaller sizes we need very high contrast between the two icons...

The state is compossed by catch and listen. The catch can be enabled, semi enabled (only the partial dll loaded) or disable, same for listen.
Bug is fixed with: http://files.first-world.info/temp/ultr ... .0.0.7.zip ?
If yes, I will put into the next version.

I have added a sample grayed out version of the same png to represent "inactive status". Please consider this change.

One more thing.

I observed that in windows x64 (I did not observed other OS), it is just "single click" to activate/deactivate, not "double click".

May be this is a bug or intended behaviour. But, we need to update.

I prefer double click too. But some user have asked a simple click.
